History is up for grabs as two teams who have never won a World Cup title in football (aka Soccer to the rest of the world) compete for Finals today at Johannesburg, South Africa for the conclusion of the 2010 World Cup.

The Spanish and the Dutch showed the greatest talents and energy on and off the court at this year’s World Cup, and it was only fitting that these two teams meet in the finals.

The live streaming video of Spain vs Netherlands 2010 Finals will be shown at many video hosting websites like justin.tv, but I prefer to watch it on free television. For replays especially the best goals of the game, you may go to Youtube after the match.

My prediction winner goes to my favorite team Spain. Let’s see how it goes.

3 Sexy Dallas Cheerleaders Sing the US National Anthem at the Cowboys Stadium

Probably the best thing that happened to an otherwise boring Event (Joshua Clottey did not throw a single good punch in his fight with Manny Pacquiao), three Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader sang the National Anthem of the USA in the pre-fight ceremonies to the wide-eyed amazement of the 50,000 or so people who attended the event and the million others watching at their homes. Here’s a copy of the video of the singing:

Whew! These ladies are very hot, and I really liked their rendition.

Watch Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey Live Streaming Video Online

The Event Pacquiao-Clottey, as this boxing match is called, will be witnessed by all boxing fans around the world tomorrow at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the biggest arena in the world. The exact date that many crossed out on their calendars is March 13, Saturday (March 14 in the Philippines). They crossed it out mainly because the initial fight was between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., the current 1-2 in boxing. When the fight didn’t push through because of outrageous drug testing demands by Mayweather, Top Rank honcho Bob Arum quickly signed up Joshua Clottey for the fight.

The Event really is one big event for me considering the venue and the crowd that will watch it live at about 45,000. I doubt the cheap ticket holders can actually see Manny Pacquiao from where they will be seated, but the Cowboys Stadium also boasts of this huge HD screen from which Jerry Jones, the arena owner, claims you can see every sweat Manny Pacquiao will produce in the ring.

How To Watch Pacquiao-Clottey (on live streaming video and the good old tv)
As with all of Pacquiao’s previous fights, free live streaming video of The Event will be all over the Internet, ranging from the low quality choppy broadcasts from such streaming website like Ustream.tv and Justin.tv (which gets taken down or TKO’ed every round someone manages to put them up) to the high-quality paid online broadcasts from Yahoo, Setanta Sports and even HBO PPV. I’ve tried all those connections but unfortunately, I had to find out the hard way that the best medium to watch Pacquiao on is still on TV, whether it be your Cable PPV feed or your local TV re-broadcast which inserts all those silly Sunday commercials. If these two are not feasible or even remotely possible, then stay tuned for a replay in the evenings or the next day. Bottom line : watch the Clottey-Pacquiao fight on tv and not the Internet.

At Stake
The WBO Welterweight title which Manny got from his win over Cotto will be at stake. Pacquiao is expected to win with a big 5-1 advantage. Manny has everything to lose in this fight, and Clottey to gain. Clottey does not have an assuming title bout experience (6 fights with 3 losses), unlike Pacquiao’s 25 or more fights. This should be a good fight, but can turn out one-sided in favor of Pacquiao.

I remember being glued to the television screen one New Year’s Day, transfixed at the show of creativity and workmanship by the participants of the Tournament of Roses Parade, more commonly known as the Rose Parade, an annual tradition held in Pasadena, California since the 1800s. Contestants from all over the US compete in the best floats designed primarily with flowers and roses. Thousands of people flock the route of the parade, and have one of the best experience of their life watching the magnificence of the flower creations.

I am watching Miguel Cotto vs Manny Pacquiao live tomorrow whatever happens. People will be searching for alternative links to the live fight, seeing that no link will actually show the fight for free. I will probably be doing the same, and my best bet is to just head on over to the nearest SM Cinema to watch the bout live on the big screen.

This fight is for the WBA Welterweight Belt. If Pacquiao emerges as the winner, he’ll shatter the world record to pieces by taking home the 7th crown in as many divisions. If Cotto submits the PACMAN, he raises his popularity even more by defeating the top pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

This Saturday, a mega-fight of sorts takes place as the former pound-for-pound best boxer in the world steps into the ring with the current #2. Yes, it’s Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Juan Manuel Marquez in Numero Uno (or Number 1) on HBO Pay-Per-View and broadcasted live in the Philippines through Channel 2. This boxing fight happens inside the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, and I’m especially looking forward to this event because of the anticipation built up by the HBO’s 24/7 show on both fighters. Not only that, the undercards are a real draw to hardcore boxing fans.

Here are some of my thoughts on why this bout is so interesting, although my prediction is that its going to be a late round stoppage for Mayweather. First, JMM is a real classy and intelligent fighter. He’s knocked down by Pacquiao three times in the first round of their first meeting, and he was able to bounce back and give Pacquiao a run for his money. That means Marqeuz doesn’t get knocked out very easily. He’s also intelligent enough not to fight Pacquiao power for power, and counterpunch his way thru a comeback. Because of this, I am also predicting that although I think the Marquez vs Maywaether is interesting, it’s going to be a boring fight. Both fighters will probably wait for each other to make a move, being counterpunchers. As we all know though, Money Mayweather has an edge because he is a natural welterweight. Just last night, he weighed 4 pounds heavier than Juan Manuel (146lbs vs 142 lbs). MAyweather will no doubt be coming into the ring with greater power. And it scares some people to think that Floyd is probably even a step faster than JMM. So that accounts for my win prediction.

How to Watch the Mayweather-Marquez Fight
There are several ways really.
1) Go to Yahoo Sports! and the HBO website to purchase the High Definition live streaming video. It’s on PPV, and this is the best way to do it online.
2) Pay your local cable for the PPV and watch the fight with friends.
3) Look for the post-fight replay videos on Youtube.
4) Gamble with your viewing experience and head on over to live streaming video websites like Justin.TV, ustream.tv, and use SopCast servers. I’ve tried this before and most of the time it doesn’t work. The fight is on PPV so if you try and watch it for free, you end up giving a lot in the process (like time and patience).
5) Watch the delayed telecast on your local TV Channel.
6) Check out BoxingVid’s Mayweather-Marquez fight updates.

It seems that Mayweather will really take this one home. My concern now is if people would put him back to #1 pound for pound if he beats Marquez, which I think is unfair for Pacquiao. The fight schedule starts at 9PM ET (9 AM here) and the actual main event will probably start at about 11 PM ET.
