Trying to avenge his loss to Rafael Nadal at last year’s Men’s Wimbledon, Roger Federer cruised easily towards the Finals this time and is now facing the hard-hitting Andy Roddick who is trying for his 2nd Grand Slam Title. Serena Williams just beat his sister Venus for the Women’s Trophy (although they win again in the Doubles 3 hours later), but the real focus of the tournament is on the Men’s Finals, where Roger hopes to get his 15th Grand Slam Title (a record) and Roddick tries to overcome the hump for the 2nd time, making this finals one of the most important turning points of his career.
For those who would like to watch the free live streaming video from Centre Court in London, you can go to their offical website at wimbledon.org. The links to the video are on the middle right side of the page. Other options that you can take are 1) going to ustream.tv and 2) justin.tv for user-contributed live Wimbledon Streams.
These matches are also usually offered by your local Sports TV channel. I also never shy away from a Youtube replay which shows only all the highlights of the match. A men’s tennis match usually lasts 3-4 hours (last year’s finals between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal took 5 + hours).
My prediction is an upset by Roddick, who seems to be in real good shape to beat Federer.
