It was a glorious day for US Men’s swimming when Jason Lezak, the oldest member of the freestyle relay team, won the last lap of the race in the most stunning come-from-behind victory of the event. Not only that, he assured Michael Phelps of his second gold medal, well on his way to beat Mark Spitz record of 7 golds in one Olympics. I immediately searched for the full video of the swim race on Youtube, but unfortunately, no good soul has done so yet. What I found though is a tribute and a small glimpse of the end of the race, where Jason Lezak overtook Alain Bernard of favorite France with a 46.01 lap, with a 3 minutes 8.24 second new World Record total for the team. Hopefully, I’ll be able to post a better video next time. Just enjoy watching!

Here, you can see Michael Phelps yelling “Yeahhhhhhh!,” probably one of the greatest moments you’ll ever see in the swimming events. Here’s a picture of Phelps on the celebration.
