If you want to watch the Olympic Games 2008 at Beijing, China live on your TV, PC or laptop (from August 8-24, 2008) then I suggest you follow the steps below.

1) Constantly visit this website for the updates and for the live video feed. The results of each winner and each event will also be published here. Subscribe to my feeds to get access to the articles. Click here for the live feed of the Olympics Opening Ceremonies.

2) Make sure that you are aware of the schedule of events. The best way is to use the Olympic Tracker by the New York Times.

3) Based on this schedule, for example the Olympics Opening Ceremony happening today, you can tune in to your local TV broadcast to see if they have it (I’m sure they have).

4) Lastly, if your chosen event is not shown on your local TV coverage, what you can do is to watch it online on your PC or Laptop. if you are American, you can visit NBC’s Olympic coverage website; if you’re Australian you can go to ABC’s website, and if you’re from UK and Canada you can see the games live at BBC and CBC for free.

5) If you’re not from these countries, say you’re from the Philippines, you can still have access to the games by making your browser use proxy servers located in either the US, UK, Canada, or Australia. Here’s a detailed instruction on how to do that. After doing so, you can then access any of the websites above and watch the Olympics like you are abroad.

6) Another way is of course to go to justin.tv, which I will be using to broadcast the Olympic Games Live right here in this website.

7) Of course, you can also use SopCast and TiVo but I haven’t used them personally because you have to install the programs. Delayed videos will also be certainly available on Youtube so you can watch out for sports coverage there.
