An earthquake hit the California (CA) area including Los Angeles (LA) and San Diego with a 5.8 magnitude this afternoon of July 29, 2008 (noon), registering a 5.8 magnitude on the Richter scale. Aftershocks, about 30 of them, were felt after the first big one. Here are some live videos and streaming feed of this earthquake news. The epicenter was 7 miles underground. The USGS says that this is just a mild earthquake.
