Holt needed only the first round to take back the WBO Junior Welterweight belt from hard-hitting Ricardo Torres. This didn’t seem to be what’s going to happen when the fight started when Torres floored Holt 15 seconds into the opening belt, following up with a second knockdown. But Kendall Holt bounces back with a left to the body and wide right that prompted referee Jay Nady to call a halt to the fight.
