Now he will try to beat the record of 16 minutes and 32 seconds, set last Feb. 10 by Switzerland’s Peter Colat according to Guinness. And this he will perform on live television: no less than on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
David Blaine first plans to breathe pure oxygen for 23 minutes (30 minutes is allowed by the rules) to hyperventilate and rid the body of excess Carbon Dioxide.
