There are two explanations why you need to get this plugin for your blog.

  1. It adds to keyword optimization and enrichment, and thus increases your traffic from search engines.
  2. It gives the readers better navigation on your site, leading to more page views.

The related entries plugin allows you to display related articles to each article being viewed based on keyword matching. For the example, just scroll down this page and see the heading Other Interesting Articles. I just recently installed it myself.

Steps in Installing Related Posts:

  1. Download the latest version on this website. Unzip it after downloading.

  2. Launch your FTP client and login to your FTP server.

  3. Copy the file related-posts.php to your public_html/wp-content/plugins.

  4. Activate it on the Plugins Tab on your Wordpress Dashboard.


  5. Go to Presentation->Theme Editor. Copy the php code <?php related_posts(); ?> somewhere om the bottom of your single.php or at the beginning of your comments.php files. Experiment with the placement.

  6. Go to Plugins->Related Posts Options and modify the settings as you see fit.

  7. That’s it!
